Photo – Posted this on a page and decided to share it to my page, just my thoughts nothing more. I remember when I was called out of control in the early 80’s because I hit the side of a stack of 4 cars and cleared them. It’s called evolution, different things need to keep happening within the sport or it would die off. I learned along time ago that some people are never happy no matter what so I decided to stop trying to please them. Misery loves company and some say it doesn’t matter what they are saying as long as they are talking about it.But constant negativity is why I seldom post on these pages . I love this sport, always have always will but I don’t have to be negative to others nor do I have to try to make myself look better through making others look worse. We live in a world where we are allowed to have our own opinions and don’t have to necessarily agree with others opinions. That doesn’t mean every topic has to be turned in bashing and bullying. It would be great to read some of these pages that most of these administrators work very hard at creating and maintaining without hearing the same thing over and over. I’ve gotta say I thought Dan’s jump was awesome and I think That the Diesel Brothers was awesome. It’s mainstream media helping the industry and expanding the demographics of this industry, I think anyone in this industry will tell you we are entertainers and to capture a audience of that size watching Monster Truck is great for this industry. There will always be 3 sides to every story. There’s, ours, and the truth !! There’s So many arguments about who did what when and who developed what first . But I look at the thousands of cheering fans and really don’t need credit for anything I’ve done because I know it took a village to grow this industry into what it is and I know old school and some of the new guys and most just want what I want, screaming fans having a great time while we get to do what we can’t believe we are being paid to do !! When I went to Vegas to World Finals and walked around amongst all these newer generation of drivers I really didn’t expect anything I just went because I was building a new truck after being gone 10 years. What I found was a great bunch of drivers who are very competitive and they pretty much all said things to me that made me glad I was coming back.I was told what I had done was appreciated by these drivers I really didn’t even know at the time, drivers who have become friends and who have real talent as entertainers Not everything we hear see or read in the media is true but hating someone because of the company they work for or hating a company because of their size and ability to do so much makes no sense to me. Criticizing New Moves because they are different makes no sense. I remember when hitting the cars in reverse was probably then what a backflip is like today. Cars, no cars, dirt no dirt, there are so many elements to putting on a show that anyone who hasn’t done probably just won’t understand. Some venues just won’t allow them and these days the junk yards are full of cars that aren’t even wide enough to sufficiently get all of both front tires so building a obstacle that stays consistent makes for a better show , having the trucks running and not all parked with cut tires makes for a better show. I just would hope the haters would look as it from all sides before condemning a truck, a driver, a venue, a promoter, a track builder and anyone else involved in making it happen. There’s usually good reasons things are done how they are done and most of the fans have an absolutely great time. Rain happens, parts break, and drivers have a off night but I have never met a promoter or anyone on their staff or a Monster Truck driver who didn’t want to put on a great show. Sometimes I wonder why some people are even on the pages or in the groups or at the shows because they have absolutely nothing good to say. Just enjoy what so many people are trying to do to bring you good family entertainment. Please feel free to share, it’s just an old mans opinion !! Don’t let it ruin your day or fuel you next rant !! Just think about it !!!
